This week the Grade 2 continued to learn about and understand their role in each relationship and why it matters.
They communicated through talking, listening, sharing, showing respect, and helping. Knowing these differences helps them build stronger connections and express their thoughts and feelings clearly.
Understanding relationships helped the Grade 2 students know how they connect with family, friends, and others around them. It teaches them respect, kindness, and responsibility.
When they recognize their roles, they learn how to communicate better, solve problems peacefully, and build trust, which supports their growth and emotional well-being.
For the upcoming weeks, they will continue to sort out all the concepts they gained.
They are writing fictional stories that explore real-life problems in creative ways. Through characters and dialogue, they will show how misunderstandings happen and how people solve them by listening, sharing feelings, and working together.
Storytelling helps children practice empathy, communication skills, and problem-solving while making learning fun and meaningful.
