Thoughts, Feelings, Actions

The Wall of Thoughts, Feelings, and Actions is a space where we share what we think, feel, and do. By posting ideas and reflections, we see how our thoughts and feelings guide our actions, helping us build respect, kindness, and stronger relationships with others

Oftentimes, we tend to act and forget to pause and revisit our thoughts and feelings. These actions lead us to difficulties and regrets that impact our relationship with others.

A cause doesn’t always end with just one effect. Like dominoes, one action can lead to many different outcomes. Our choices and perspectives guide what happens next, shaping our relationships and lives.

Our choices create effects—good or bad. Every action is like a little cause that changes how relationships grow.

But what are the different kinds of relationships we have identified in our research?
Family
Friendship
Romantic
Acquaintances
Professional
Stranger
Mutual
Situationship
Platonic

With a partner, choose one type of relationship (family, friends, teacher, acquaintance, stranger, or professional). Show examples of this relationship by either drawing a picture together or acting it out for the class.

Then together they shared their expertise to the class.

As part of the Literacy integration, the Grade 2 students started the planning stage in story writing. With the goal of informing other students about ways and strategies to build and keep relationships.
